D_Manning started the topic Registration using a second organization in the forum Monitor My Watershed 3 years, 1 month ago
I have a stream monitor that’s supported by one organization, so when I registered the monitor on MonitorMyWatershed I used that organization’s name under ‘Organization’. That was a year ago. I am now registering a second monitor, for a different organization. I would like that (second) organization be identified with the second monitor, but I…[Read more]

@neilh20 The most recent one I purchased was: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/revx-systems-corp/251/1998-251-ND/10484959
However, the volunteer determined that AT&T served his site best, so I have not tested nor deployed this SIM.Best,

I am not sure this is the correct place in the forum to ask this question. But here goes.
I have recently received a hex file for updating my Mayfly 1.1 data logger card. The procedure is written for windows PC. I have a Macbook Pro M1 MAX series machine running. Ventura 13.4.
The procedure calls for downloading the AVRDUDE software, dri…[Read more]

Braedon started the topic Using Modular Sensors for METER Teros 12 in the forum Environmental Sensors 3 years, 2 months ago
Is there a way to use the modular sensors library for METER Teros 12 sensors on the Mayfly 1.1? I’ve noticed that there is an option for the Teros 11, but not for the 12. Can the MeterTeros11.cpp file be modified to capture the electrical conductivity that the 12 measures but the 11 doesn’t? I’ve thought about just using the SDI12Sensors files to…[Read more]

I was! For some reason my Adafruit folder didn’t include the ADS1015.cpp and ADS1015.h files. I have my library up to date now though and it’s working great. Thanks!

This is from the person that designed the shield, “The shield requires 5V which you can only get via the switched regulator. I wrote a basic little function to turn off the switched regulator but, because of the way they wrote the mayfly code, there is no place to put the function call before the code puts the processor to sleep.

Hello Dan, thanks for the info. I’m using RevX from Digikey “,”1998-251-ND”,”VERIZON SIM TRIPLE FF CAT-M” with XB3-CA-2/XB3M1
For the Enviro LTE Bee, RevX supports suggests ATT may be more flexible, so fairly low rish ~ 1998-1011-ND RevX Systems Corp. TRI SIM 2FF/3FF/4FF SIM AT&T

Hi Neil,
I ordered my Verizon SIMs through a company called Simetry and have used them successfully with the Digi XBee modem (XB3-C-A2). Unfortunately, I have had these modems fail as well, but for unknown reasons. I have a bunch of the LTE Bee modems, but I can’t use them with our Verizon account because of the end-level certification issue. As…[Read more]

I think I found the answer by emailing support@rexV, since I got it from amazon.com Mar.2022 it wasn’t certified for Verizon.
This can be checked https://opendevelopment.verizonwireless.com/activation-troubleshooting
support@RexV said “RevX does not certify devices for use on M2M/IoT rate plans, rather the manufacturer registers the IMEI with…[Read more]

Hello @mbarney, or @dan-wachusett I’m looking to try the LTE BEE – just wondering if you have used the RevX Verizon CAT-M sims.
I have been using it with the Dig XB3-C-A2 and have a few spare. Seems like it should work at this stage, but many ships have foundered on unseen shoals.!

I am currently trying to learn and understand how to properly use the modular sensors library for the Mayfly 1.1. I have downloaded the libraries through EnviroDIY, and I am using the Arduino IDE. When I go to compile code based on the modular sensors library, or I use an example such as simple_logging.ino, I get the following…[Read more]

Jake Lemon started the topic Gen2 CTD Sensor Noisy Conductivity in the forum Environmental Sensors 3 years, 2 months ago
Hey there. Has anyone else noticed that the Gen2 CTD sensors seem to produce noisier conductivity data than the Gen1? I haven’t done any analysis to back this up have observed seemingly more anomalous conductivity values at sites where I’ve deployed this sensor. I can provide some examples if helpful. Generally I’m seeing drops of 50-150 us/cm…[Read more]

Hi Neilh20,
After some tests and new code I succed with reading PH data from sensor with I2C, and trasmitting them to datalogger over the SDI-12.
Actually, I must left the slave device in listening mode every time using: mySDI12.forceListen();
For some reason I didn’t proceed that way… but finally I could find the way 😉
This is working in…[Read more]

If you’ve got a more complicated question or issue, then it is probably best to start your own thread. The goal of this thread is to be a great informati…[Read more]

Okay, gotcha. It’s of interest for me because I am looking at attaching multiple apogee pyranometers and pyrgeometers to the Mayfly that are all analog outputs. Because the pyrgeometers also require adjustments based on an internal thermistor reading, it would require more than 4 analog pins, so I am just seeing if I could get a decent resolution…[Read more]
