Thanks for your thoughts Neil.

These blips are occurring over the course of hours (roughly 4-6 hours from when depth starts dropping until it reaches it’s lowest point) though the time varies by occurrence.

They seem to be happening as temperature approaches the freezing point. I’ve attached a graph with temp for reference.

Hey there. We have a station where the black quick connect cable was installed incorrectly and the pos/neg cable from the solar panel were switched. Should I expect this to result in a damaged logger? Will it damage any other components?

The Download Sensor Data function doesn’t seem to be working. I get a message saying “site wasn’t available”. This has been reported by volunteers as well.

Hi Shannon. So I just received a few more panels. The stereo jack cables are going in relatively easily with these. I think I received some damaged hardware, causing the stereo jack cable to be very difficult to get plugged in. And causing a bad connection to the logger.

Thanks Shannon. I was actually talking about the stereo jack. See attached image.

Since we transitioned to the new panels it has been very difficult to get the stereo jack from the panel plugged into that adapter cable. Any recommendations on that are welcome.

Any tricks on getting the new solar panel jacks plugged into the 2-pin adapter cable? They are really difficult to get in and I’m wondering if something was damaged while it was being plugged in due to the effort of getting the plug seated.

Thanks Shannon. I did swap the battery when I swapped the logger. I am using the matte finish panel. Also, I went to the EnviroDIY knowledge base parts list and clicked the link for the panel there. The link sends me to the old panel on Adafruit rather than the new panel we are using.

I have a station that was recently deployed that cannot maintain sufficient battery voltage. The strange thing is that the voltage drops over one 15 minute increment, rather than gradually over time. I just ordered a couple more sensors today and got this message from Meter “HYDROS 21s are currently on stop ship due to issues with EC readings. Our team is hoping to have this resolved soon.”

Hey there. Has anyone else noticed that the Gen2 CTD sensors seem to produce noisier conductivity data than the Gen1? Has anyone used the meter group ECT air temp sensor with the mayfly? Is there code out there to support this? Comments on experience with the sensor itself? It comes with a solar shield which is nice.

Hi All. I updated my MMW password after the V0.15 release. Now I am not seeing most of my sites under “My Sites”. Perhaps I have multiple profiles somehow and I’ve connected to an old one in the process of updating my password? The only sites are see are two from PA that were deployed in 2017 I think. Can someone please look into that for me? Thanks!

Thanks all for the feedback. I went out to the site yesterday. One of our staff had switched out a Digi modem for an EnviroDIY modem a while back and plugged the EnviroDIY modem into the Digi adapter board. I wonder if that had something to do with the issue?
