Hi @mbarney, sorry you’re experiencing difficulty after the release. @aufdenkampe, can your team take a look at this issue and this one?

Matt, to answer to your question about notification, an email was sent to all registered Monitor My Watershed users on April 5. In case others have questions, I’ll paste it in here.

        Dear Monitor My Watershed User,

A lot has been happening behind the scenes to improve the performance, stability, and features of the Monitor My Watershed Data Sharing Portal. The hard work by Anthony Aufdenkampe, Paul Tomasula, and others at LimnoTech is paying off with several new version releases. The next release (v0.15) will enhance account security on Monitor My Watershed.

This security enhancement requires you to reset your password. When you access Monitor My Watershed on or after 12 April 2023, you will be prompted to change your password when you log in. Your username will remain the same. If you have questions or issues with this procedure, please email help@monitormywatershed.org.

For the few of you who use the Water One Flow endpoint (https://monitormywatershed.org/wofpy/) for accessing your data via a script, please reach out to help@monitormywatershed.org for information on an upcoming shutdown of this service and a temporary, undocumented alternative.

On behalf of the Monitor My Watershed team at Stroud Water Research Center and LimnoTech, thank you for using and supporting Monitor My Watershed!

You may already be aware but I’ll put this here for others that didn’t know: recordings of a two-day Programming and Building an EnviroDIY Mayfly Monitoring Station workshop are available on the Videos page. And here’s the supplemental resource sheet with links to the videos on YouTube and other resources.

            Hello,
Did you check out the EnviroDIY Monitoring Station Manual? There’s lots of information about building and installing a station at a stream, including links to video tutorials and a virtual workshop.

Thanks for asking. The team at LimnoTech is working on a new hierarchical system for organizations that will allow for different levels of editing rights for multiple individuals. This will allow individuals other than the site owner/creator to manage the site. As I understand it, the target is to release this update by the end of the year. As for transferring ownership of a site outright, I’ll have to loop in @aufdenkampe in to answer that!

Hi Neil! Jumping in here as site admin to explain about link limits. You’re correct: a common characteristic of comment spam is a large number of hyperlinks. That said, you should be able to post up to 15 links before your post is held for moderation. If you’re finding that’s not the case, please email webmaster@stroudcenter.org so that I can investigate. Thanks!

Reminder: we’re limiting this forum topic to non-technical questions related to the production status and availability of EnviroDIY products like the Mayfly Data Logger or its accessories.

Please post other Mayfly-related discussions separately on the Mayfly forum. We’ll move off-topic replies posted here to their own threads to preserve the activity while keeping this topic skimmable. Thanks for your cooperation!

@brianjastram, our partners at LimnoTech believe they have resolved the affiliation issue for you. I’m adding an excerpt here for the record; please see GitHub issue #562 for the full explanation.

This site’s affiliation should be resolved. […] The short term fix is to make sure the user is affiliated with an organization, then edit the site record and select the same user again for ‘deployment by’. That will force the site organization field to update.

Thanks for the details. I’ve created a GitHub issue for this.
