        Hi EnviroDIY community,

My name is Regina Fletcher, and I help maintain a community-designed, LoRaWAN-based Flood Monitoring Network, called Floodzilla. I am in the process of diversifying our flood monitoring devices to help us be more flexible and resilient. I have been eyeing a company called Vega and their VegaPuls C21 radar sensor, which I actually found through a Stroud Research Center project called ORCA:

A River Flood Monitoring System for Rapid Deployment – EnviroDIY

Is there a specific group or person I could ask their experience with the company and its products? Is anybody a few years in with the devices and have any tips or suggestions? This would be an exciting change going from our current ultrasonic sensors, Milesight Brand, to radar.

For more context, our flood monitoring network environment is an agricultural floodplain in the Lower Snoqualmie Valley. Our monitoring sites vary from drainage ditches, farm fields, and underneath bridges. The vertical range we monitor can be between 15 and 50 feet, and we strategically place gateways (Multitech and Milesight Brand) throughout the valley on top of barns and in windowsills at high-ground properties. </span>

Here is a bit more information on our non-profit page:

Thank you for any assistance, looking forward to learning from you all.
