Parts list, European vendors – Water level and ph

Hi EnviroDIY community. We’re looking to set up 1-2 EnviroDIY stations in Ireland.

We’re currently looking at multiple potential use cases. Water level monitoring for a kayak club and water level + ph monitoring for two environmental groups.

I’ve looked into sensor options and sourcing of the parts list in Ireland. Could someone please check that the below parts list is complete? I have included the vendors in case others are interested. Here’s a google sheet with the details like prices and exact vendor links.

We’d like to start with sensors that have been proven to work well and are lower cost than the Hydros 21. From what I’ve read here that means the MaxBotix MB7389 and Atlas Scientific ph kit should be a good start. Can someone please confirm.

• Is the MaxBotix MB7389 the proven choice for more affordable ultrasonic out of the water measurement vs using the Hydros? I’m aware that the range is 30cm to 5m and we should avoid noisy environments. That as per this post free standing mounting seems better than a standpipe. And that as per this post mounting the sensor directly to the Pelican case is an option.
• Is the Atlas Scientific ph kit the proven choice for ph measurements? I’m aware that we’ll have to clean the probe every few weeks.
