<p>Just an update.  I uploaded &#8216;d_simple_logger&#8217; to see what is coming directly from the sensor.  It seems that the sensor itself is producing the -9992 values, rather than it being created somehow by the Mayfly.</p>
<p>I have contacted METER and they are looking into it.  I suspect the sensor is faulty.</p>

<p>I have a strange error where my brand new Gen2 hydros sensor is reading -9992 for depth and conductivity.  Temperature is fine.  I have three other Gen 2 sensors deployed and they all seem to work okay (although they too have negative value drop-outs on occasion).</p>

<p>I have one Yosemitech 511-A sensor that turns on the wiper for approximately 30 seconds with each measurement.  The wiper doesn&#8217;t move from side to side either, it rotates in a continuous full circle for the full 30s.</p>

<p>Around 50% of my sites have a problem where the CTD drops out on a regular (not predictable) basis.  This results in -9999 values which may persist for a few readings before returning to normal.</p>
<p>I still get a data record out of this, but the resolution is lower and I would like to fix it if possible.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Thanks Neil.  I have had a skim through the attached document but the flows we are dealing with are in the order of 2-3 m3/sec during baseflow.  We also have another concern because there is sediment clearance in the lower reaches on an annual basis, which again will impact the rating curve.</p>
