Before opening a tcp connection, the Socket Receiving Mode should be made to 1 (passive mode). I have no idea why it works only while doing this. But it works.

It looks like you’re working from the modem component within Modular Sensors. That component wraps TinyGSM and adds physical pin support for power management. Ah. That example is written for the current “master” branch of the library, not the latest polished release. I’m way overdue for a new release, but there are some bugs I still need to fix.

We’re really excited to partner with Labcrafter so they can be a source of our products to people in Europe. As for sensors, the Maxbotix MB7389 you mentioned is probably your best bet for low cost ultrasonic rangefinding.
