About Me

I am the Water Quality Program Coordinator at Musconetcong Watershed Association in northwestern New Jersey–and I’ve been working in Water Quality Monitoring Land for 17 years. The Musconetcong River is 42 miles long, so its a big area to work in. For the past six years I have been working with various types of probes and sensors (YSI, Hach, and Solinst) to collect continuous water quality data (DO, temp, level and conductivity) before and after dam removals. But we have a growing volunteer monitoring program and have been looking for different ways to use technology that can make the data they collect more meaningful…EnviroDIY looks like a big step forward for our program. I’m looking forward to trying them out and seeing how they work in our restoration projects. I’m nerdy, but probably not as technical as some of you are so I’m looking forward to learning a lot.
