Instructions for uploading csv data to Monitor My Watershed are in section 7 of the Monitor My Watershed Sensor Data Manual. Note that there are different instructions for “Uploading EnviroDIY Monitoring Station Data – Filling Data Gaps” and “Uploading CSV Sensor Data Not Already Formatted for MonitorMW”.

What sketch are you running? The debug statements above are mentioning Digi Xbee module, but your photo shows a Simcom SIM7080 module. The code for a Digi Xbee modem is not compatible with the Simcom module shown in the photo.
If you’re trying to use the configuration shown in the photo, along with a Hyrdos 21 CTD sensor (as indicated in your c…[Read more]

Hi Sara and Shannon,
I am also getting the “could not wake modem for clock sync” error. I do not know if it’s connected but when the logger records to the SD card (after giving the “could not wake modem for clock sync” error) it records at random time intervals and only takes a few data points before stopping.
Here is the debugging information I…[Read more]

Well as you can see this thread is almost 3 years old. I haven’t tried anything more than what was mentioned above. Your analysis is solid however its dealing with any current pulses and battery voltage measurement circuit.

I’ve had some response from staging.monitormywatershed.org:80
but then it seems to become unreliable.

I’ve also seen similar results when working with long-term outdoor deployments. The low quiescent currents are encouraging, but as you noted, the internal resistance of LiSOCl2 becomes more noticeable as the battery ages, especially under load spikes from sensors or radios. A good-sized supercap buffer really helps smooth that out.
If anyone is c…[Read more]

Has anyone had success using a Verizon SIM with the LTEbee modem? If so, any guidance on how to make that work is welcome.

Hello Just wondering what are the target POST
It seems this simple idea can’t be kept working https://github.com/WikiWatershed/monitor-my-watershed/issues/682
and what is the POST for staging for testing.
What’s not working for me is monitormywatershed.org:80 & staging.monitormywatershed.org:80
It used to sometime ago.

I’m working with soil moisture sensors and currently using the Acclima TDR-305N, which communicates via the SDI-12 protocol. I’ve successfully interfaced with the sensor using the Arduino SDI-12 library and can retrieve standard measurements without issue.
However, I’m now trying to access the actual TDR waveform using the High Volume Binary Com…[Read more]

Wow looks fascinating. While the SWaP-C mechanical looks so nice, and it’s the open-source software on opensource readable hardware that can make it so nicely extensible. It’s great to see the Stonefly’s SAMD5 […]

What is the control board that you’re using between the Mayfly and the pumps? Something with some relays? How is it connected to the Mayfly? Via Grove cables or the 2×10 header pins? Can you post some photos of the setup, or maybe a wiring diagram?

I am using a MayFly to control pumps in a water sampler to pump water for specified timeframes. I have the battery powering the pumps and a converter to power the board.
I have my hardware system set up, and I have checked the voltages and battery and pins throughout the system, with reason to believe that my problem is not because of any wiring.…[Read more]
