It sounds like you don’t have all the correct library files installed in your Arduino/libraries folder. How many sub-folders do you have in that directory on your computer? When did you last download the ModularSensors library dependency files?

Thank you for the response. I tried without sketch without making any changes and got the same error:

<p class=”p1″>/Users/tom/Documents/Work/sketch_nov5a/sketch_nov5a.ino:326:5: error: ‘loggerClock’ has not been declared</p>

That sounds like there’s probably an error in your code that is causing one or more missing functions calls to give an error when compiling. Have you tried compiling the example sketch exactly as it’s written on that github page I linked above, with no edits at all? If you’re successful in compiling that example, then compare your edited s…[Read more]

Section 6 of the EnviroDIY Monitoring Station Manual has instructions and photos related to building the station you have. Section 6.3 in particular discusses the Hydros 21 CTD sensor that you’re having trouble with. I’m attaching a screenshot of that section of the manual. You can see in the photos how the sensor cable has a 3.5mm stereo he…[Read more]

How is the sensor connected? To disconnect a grove plug, squeeze the lock at the top of the white connector and pull it off. This is the headphone (stereo) jack: https://www.envirodiy.org/product/envirodiy-grove-to-3-5mm-stereo-jack-pack-of-2/. The stereo/headphone connector is just like the one on wired headphones.

CDT sensor reading on Mayfly monitor reads -9999. Unable to find any issues with sensor, wires. Can’t figure out how to disconnect Grove cable in order to disconnect and reconnect, as per instructional video. Don’t know what a “headphone jack” looks like!
HELP!

Instructions for uploading csv data to Monitor My Watershed are in section 7 of the Monitor My Watershed Sensor Data Manual. Note that there are different instructions for “Uploading EnviroDIY Monitoring Station Data – Filling Data Gaps” and “Uploading CSV Sensor Data Not Already Formatted for MonitorMW”.

What sketch are you running? The debug statements above are mentioning Digi Xbee module, but your photo shows a Simcom SIM7080 module. The code for a Digi Xbee modem is not compatible with the Simcom module shown in the photo.
If you’re trying to use the configuration shown in the photo, along with a Hyrdos 21 CTD sensor (as indicated in your c…[Read more]

Hi Sara and Shannon,
I am also getting the “could not wake modem for clock sync” error. I do not know if it’s connected but when the logger records to the SD card (after giving the “could not wake modem for clock sync” error) it records at random time intervals and only takes a few data points before stopping.
Here is the debugging information I…[Read more]

Well as you can see this thread is almost 3 years old. I haven’t tried anything more than what was mentioned above. Your analysis is solid however its dealing with any current pulses and battery voltage measurement circuit.
