    Mostly the cables we put in are armored –  3/4″ flexible and can be joined easly – something like https://www.lowes.com/pd/HydroMaxx-3-4-in-x-50-ft-Black-Flexible-PVC-Pipe/1002884464

    Also seen cables chewed by squirrels .
