  I am trying to decide between a Yosemitech 511-A turbidity sensor with brush, or a 510-B brushless sensor.
  
  I have read that there have been some issues with setting the interval time for the 511 brush with a typical wingshield with 9v polou step up. I see that Anthony had some success with a wiring harness and a boost converter module. Can anyone elaborate? Could I get the brush working with a typical 9v step up/wingshield?

  Another question worth pondering is whether brushed sensors are desirable over un-brushed sensors in lotic environments? Perhaps the difference in performance is more apparent in lentic systems where
