About Me

My partner, Marion Waggoner, and I volunteer our time under the broad headline name -“WHAT” (Watershed Hydrological Analysis Team”).  Our focus is to help environmental groups analyze their watersheds (stream flow and RunOff model development, sensor development and deployment and data analysis (multiple linear and non-linear regression, etc).  Our current efforts are in developing novel Excel models and analysis techniques to capture baseline turbidity/sediment loading for a watershed so that the impact of stream bank improvements or the negative impacts of residential and commercial development can be tracked.  Due to the challenges of keeping turbidity probe clean and obtaining reliable data for sediment tracking during rain events, we are developing a low cost on-line auto-sampler along with a novel analysis technique to predict with high confidence rain event sediment loading.
