About Me

I am a freshwater ecologist at the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research (NIWA) in Hamilton, New Zealand. I am leading a project to update NIWA’s Stream Health Monitoring and Assessment Kit (SHMAK) – our community monitoring kit. The upgrade includes new variables, user-friendly manual and training resources, new technologies, and mobile phone/web functions.
