About Me

I am the Adopt-A-Wetland coordinator for the Georgia Coast, based out of Savannah, GA.  I work for the University of Georgia Marine Extension and Georgia Sea Grant.  I partner with volunteers, teachers, and community groups to teach about water quality issues in coastal Georgia, and then train them to become environmental stewards through water quality monitoring.  We act as a the sister organization to Georgia Adopt-A-Stream.  I have previously worked as a biologist in Utah, St. Croix in the USVI, Kentucky, and Maryland, for a variety of federal and state agencies.
