Flávio de Carvalho Magina is a Senior Technologist at INPE – National Institute for Space Research – an agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation of Brazil – where he has worked since 1986. He is a PhD in Earth System Science, defended in February / 2016 by INPE. Master’s Degree in Sciences in Electrical Engineering in the area of Automation and Industrial Electrical Systems by UNIFEI (Federal University of Itajubá – MG), with defense in 2007. Graduated in 1985 in Electrical Engineering (Emphasis in Telecommunications) by INATEL – Instituto Nacional de Telecommunications of Santa Rita do Sapucaí – MG.. He specialized in Brazil and the United States in Data Collection telemetry systems for Environmental Monitoring.
